Kain Highwind

Taking command of the legion after the departure of its previous leader, Cid Highwind,
Kain is a high-ranking dragoon (or dragon knight) heralding from the kingdom of
Baron. An unparalleled warrior, unmatched in speed in agility, his specialty lies in the
use of polearms, his favored weapon being the fabled spear of the warrior god Odin,
the Gungnir. A believer in his own personal honor, and very absorbed within his training;
he often seems like a loner, but in reality is a good and trustworthy ally.

Squall Leonhart

Keeping a somewhat quiet profile, this expressionless and distant teenager had
devoted his future development in Balamb Garden. Though his ambition isn't shortsided,
his team spirit is very much lacking. Equipped with a gunblade, a combined sword and
gun, he joined the elite military organization known as SeeD. Against uncertain odds,
Squall saved a world plagued by chaos from a mysterious conspiracy of rivalry.

Selphie Tilmitt

Cute, sweet, and shy, Selphie is a girl who has no fears. Peace and love are really the
only two things that are always on her mind. Since her friends surround her with these
two things, she wishes to surround other people with them as well. Always being
cheerful has won her a lot of friends, even though most of her time is taken up by SeeD
work and festival planning. Her cheerful moods are always taking them out of the bad
dispositions if they happen to be in them.
